About Us

Greg Kania

As an intern, I am focusing on operational aspects of financial planning, tax planning, and investment management. My goal is to help implement new systems that will enable Susan, Donna, and Rob to work more efficiently and continue to deliver a delightful experience for MFA clients.

As a student, I’ve completed my second year at the College of Wooster in Ohio, where I am studying Global & International Relations with a concentration in economics. This major entails an emphasis on courses in economics, as well as courses in political science, history, and a language (in my case French). I am also pursuing minors in French and philosophy. This upcoming fall, I will be studying abroad in Geneva Switzerland through the School of International Training in their Banking, Finance, & Social Responsibility program.

I’ve observed that personal finance is the intersection of macro-level economic concepts and individual decision making. These are two areas that I’m focusing on in my academic studies, and I’m excited to learn more about practical applications and how financial planning is used to help individuals and families.

Dinner table conversations at our house often incorporated something about investments and personal finance, so I’ve been picking up “wealth management” concepts by osmosis for a while. As I’ve begun to think about what comes after college, I’ve found myself attracted to the idea of a career in finance. When my father suggested that I consider working with him, Susan, and Donna for the summer, it was an easy decision.
